8/25/10 - Results from the Steele County Fair and the District II Holstein Show... Jerland Advent Amazing-ET was named Junior Champion of the District II Holstein Show and Junior Champion of the 4-H Show - Congrats Joseph!

Other county fair open show highlights include junior champion Brown Swiss and junior champion Jersey. Other District II Holstein Show highlights include first place spring calf with Stranshome Advent Danell-ET, first place junior two-year old with Stranshome Demo Cloudy Sky and first place senior two-year old with Jerland Talent Glamour-ET.

6/19/10 - Home from a great Minnesota State Holstein Show... Jenny was named first 5-Year Old, Senior Champion, Grand Champion and Best Udder of Show! Brazil was named first fall calf and Junior Champion! Absolute was named first summer yearling and Reserve Junior Champion. Audio was first winter yearling. 12/11/09 - All-American R&W Nominations and Mexican National Champion... Jerland Rubens Nan-Red-ET, Jen-D Devil Tiffany-Red and Jerland Redlnr Noela-Red-ET have all been Nominated All-American Red & White for 2009. 11/25/09 - World Dairy Expo, Royal Winter Fair and Fall Harvest...It has been a busy few months with lots to report on! We had a full string down in Madison heavily stacked with Reds. Highlights... Jerland Rubens Nan-Red-ET was named 1st Aged Cow and Best Udder; Jen-D Devil Tiffany-Red was 3rd place senior two-year old and best udder; Jerland Redlnr Noella-Red-ET was 8th place winter calf; Jerland Redlnr Gypsy-Red-ET was 14th fall calf; Jerland Talnt Narnia-Red-ET was 9th place summer yearling; Jerland Kite Nissa-Red was 10th place four-year old and Nissa, Nan and Gavin were named 1st place Senior Best Three Females!

Jen-D Devil Tiffany-Red traveled up to Toronto and finished 3rd in the senior two-year old class. A special thanks to Mike and Julie Duckett and crew for their exceptional care of Tiff while at the Royal.

After a very long and wet fall the crops are all out!

Jen-D Manhat Billie, 2x grand champion of the Midwest Fall National, was sold to Edwardo Garcia. Good luck at the upcoming Mexican National Show!

9/9/09 - Classification Highlights... the Holstein breed has a new Very Good-89 RED two-year old, Jen-D Devil Tiffany-Red! Tiffany is owned by Reid Stransky and Jeni Dingbaum and was recently named Grand Champion of the Minnesota State Fair Red & White Show. Earlier this season, Tiffany was Intermediate Champion of the Minnesota State Black & White Holstein Show. Another highlight was Jen-D Manhat Billie being raised to EX-94 EEEEE! Sired by Mr. Manhattan-ET, Billie is owned by Reid and Joe Stransky and Roger and Jeni Dingbaum. Billie was recently named Senior and Grand Champion of the Midwest Fall National Holstein Show for the second year in a row! Other highlights include three new VG-87 two-year olds: Ms Stranshome Advnt Slim-ET (2nd Junior 2-Yr Old, 2009 Midwest Fall National), Black-Lion Terr Commotion-ET (2009 All-Minnesota Junior 2-Yr Old) and ZJ-Gunn Gladys Tiara (owned by Reid Stransky, Jeni Dingbaum and Paul Trapp, Jr.). Three VG-86 two-year olds: Kingsmill St Renaissance-ET (3rd Senior Two-Year Old, 2009 Midwest Fall National), Lake-Prairie Advent Ava-Red (owned by Megan Herberg) and Ms Stranshome Dundee Moka. Moving up to the Excellent-90 EX-MS category was McCreary-Run Lucifer Lilly a junior three-year old for 2009.

9/1/09 - Results from the Midwest Fall National Holstein Show... Jen-D Manhat Billie was named 1st 5-Year Old, Senior Champion, Grand Champion and Top Bred & Owned of the Midwest Fall National Holstein Show! Jen-D Devil Tiffany-Red was named 1st Senior 2-Year Old and BU, Intermediate Champion, Grand Champion and Top Bred and Owned of the Minnesota State Fair Red & White Show. Jerland Redlnr Noella-Red-ET was named first winter calf and junior champion of the Minnesota State Fair Red & White Show. More results from the red & white show include first place summer yearling with Jerland Talnt Narnia-Red-ET and first place winter yearling with Stranshome Tal Salsa-Red-ET. Stranshome also received the premier breeder and exhibitor banner of the Red & White Show. Additional results from the Midwest Fall National Holstein Show include first place summer yearling Stranshome Aspen Kenna, second place junior two-year old Ms Stranshome Advnt Slim-ET, third place senior two-year old Kingsmill St Renaissance-ET, third place senior three-year old Harmill Blitz Mona and second place four year old Jenny-Lou Hi Metro 1782. Jerland Kite Nissa-Red was named All-Minnesota Red & White 4-Yr Old, Senior Champion, Reserve Grand Champion and Best Bred & Owned of Show. Jerland Redlnr Noela-Red-ET was All-Minnesota Red & White Winter Calf and Reserve Junior Champion of Show. Other All-Minnesota winners include: Jerland Redlnr Gypsy-Red-ET, All-Minnesota Red & White Fall Calf; Stranshome Tal Salsa-Red-ET, All-Minnesota Red & White Winter Yearling. Additional highlights include All-Minnesota Red & White Junior Best Three Females and All-Minnesota Red & White Daughter/Dam.

6/22/09 - Results from the 2009 Minnesota State Holstein Show... (CHECK OUT THE SNAPSHOTS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE) It was a great week for the Stranshome crew concluding with a Premier Exhibitor Banner! A few highlights... Lake-Prairie Kite Anika-ET was named All-Minnesota Fall Calf and Junior Champion of the show. Anika's dam Budjon Rubens Annette (owned by Megan Herberg and housed at Stranshome) was named All-Minnesota Four-Year Old and HM Senior Champion of the open show. Earlier in the week Annette was named HM Grand Champion of the Minnesota State Junior Holstein Show. Jen-D Devil Tiffany-Red (owned with Jeni Dingbaum) was named All-Minnesota Senior Two-Year Old and Intermediate Champion of the show. Kingsmill St Renaissance-ET was first in the Golden Gopher Futurity XXXIII and 4th Senior Two-Year Old.

5/19/09 - It was a fabulous classification day at Stranshome! Highlights of the day include Harmill Blitz Mona, a Sr. 3-year-old for the upcoming show season, maxing out at EX-92 with EX-93MS, Jen-D Devil Tiffany-Red, 2x All-American Nominee, went VG-88, 88-MS and EX-91 in the frame just three weeks fresh as a 2-year-old, Quality-Ridge Rubens Sandy went EX-94 with a perfect score in dairy strength, Jerland Kite Nissa-Red, a granddaughter out of Renita, went EX-91 @ 4Y (Nissa's RED Talent daughter sells in the 2009 National Red & White Convention Sale), Budjon Rubens Annette went EX-90 (Annette's RED Kite daughter sells in the Snapshots of Starmark Sale this Saturday), Jerland Rubens Nan-Red-ET is now EX-95MS after being Best Udder of the Show at the 2009 Midwest Spring National Red & White Show. And more good news...the herd includes six new VG two-year olds! Kingsmill St Renaissance-ET went VG-85 VG-MS just fresh three weeks and her daughter, a possible 15th generation Excellent, sells on the Chosen Few Sale June 6.
